Vacation Home Photography, The Den in Palm Springs, California
As a vacation home + lifestyle photographer, this mid-century modern home is easily one of my top 3 favorite properties
I traveled from Utah to a place near and dear to my heart, the city I was born in, Palm Springs, CA, and spent 48 magical hours in The Den capturing every angle I could find.
If You Are A Vacation Home Owner, Here’s How You Attract More Guests
If you want to elevate your vacation listing and get more bookings, show your future guests what it FEELS like in your home. The way you do that is by creating lifestyle moments and by capturing the light in the home in a natural way. Show intimate details of the home, but the ones that matter. Normally, people are coming to stay in your home on vacation, so treat your photography experience like a resort or retreat space.
The photography creative direction I go in with owners is custom because each home is unique and offers a different experience for guests. I work with mountain cabin owners in popular rural areas of the West, and I also work with lakeside and desert homeowners. Each home and retreat space is in a unique environment and offers very amenities so my photography must tell a different story each time. The owners I work with desire quality work, a large library of usable images for marketing, and also want marketing guidance [I’ve been a professional photographer and marketing consultant for over 20 years]
The Den was designed by architect, William Krisel for the Alexander Construction Company. Located in the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood, light blankets this home inviting you into almost every space on the property. The owners are a delight, and they left no stone unturned in successfully blending design, quality, and function.
