Final Tips for Shoot Day

  • Be prepared - show up 150% and breath a bit easier knowing that’s the best you can do

  • Communicate well with your crew and talent

    • Make sure everyone is on the same page about what the day will be like and look like (send everyone the Call Sheet & Shot list before the shoot day)

    • Communicate what your expectations are for your crew

  • Bring food and drinks

  • Take breaks! Even if you don’t think you need to, you need to. This a great time to process, look through your images (ensure you have everything you need), and check in with everyone - you are responsible for keeping everyone content with the day.

  • Keep an eye on your images throughout the day (assign the role to your assistant to check in with your shots after each location) make sure you are getting the shots you need, but feel free to capture ones that happen on the fly (if you have time)

  • Enjoy the ride!
